Project Description: Poster Design | Dimensions: 50x85 in.
Client: Enoch Pratt Free Library
Objective: To create buzz for the children’s section that was underperforming by creating eye-catching posters that would be displayed in the cathedral windows. Designers were asked to chose a children’s book to base their poster design off of. For my poster I chose the book, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”
Inspired by the line, “what do you see,” I wanted to create an optical illusion by creating a portrait of a child out of characters inspired by the art style of the book. I made tissue paper and Mod Podge cutouts that I then scanned to make digital renderings. This poster was chosen as one of six posters that would be displayed in the window for a year.
